CMPHG is an evolving artist journal functioning simultaneously as archive, testimony, and ritual of presence. Begun in Spring/Summer of 2022 as a love letter, the project gradually developed into a personal archive of experiences, reveries, and things left unspoken.

The journal does not follow a fixed chronology. Instead, its pages accumulate through recurring motifs, fragments, objects, images, and acts of inscription and concealment. Text, painted elements, photography, redaction, personal objects, and organic traces are incorporated both as records and as materials to be altered, obscured, layered, or recontextualised. Objects operate simultaneously as relics and evidence: traces of lived experience that acquire new meaning through their placement within the journal.

The work considers memory not as a stable record but as a process of continual reconstruction. As the journal develops, documentation becomes inseparable from interpretation; remembering is an act of selection, transformation, and return. The page functions as a palimpsest, where personal history is repeatedly inscribed, concealed, displaced, and revisited.

Drawing on archival practices, devotional objects, and literary forms of collecting and preservation, CMPHG occupies a space between private correspondence and public artwork.
